The Delmarva Peninsula has a large number of migrant workers that work in chicken processing plants, the crabbing industry, agriculture, landscaping and nurseries, and other industries. There are growing inequity issues surrounding income taxes, housing discrimination, and lack of identification. LESEN focuses on migrant and immigrant rights, workers’ rights, environmental justice, and housing.
