Offshore drilling, on- and off-shore wind farm proposals, solar farms, and fracked gas pipelines are important energy-related issues increasing on Delmarva and offshore. While LESEN is generally supportive of properly situated, low-impact solar and offshore wind, we recognize they can be made better with public input, such as placement requirements to avoid forest loss or bird and marine mammal strikes. LESEN works with partners to oppose offshore drilling and a fracked gas pipeline through the peninsula.
